Discover the incredible natural beauty that Langkawi has to offer

Yoga Now and Rimbawi Geo Discovery have joined together to offer you the opportunity to combine a love of yoga with a passion for nature. Discover some of the pristine natural highlights of this magnificent island, including the world’s most ancient rainforest and the unique mangrove eco-systems with the nature guides from Rimbawi GEO Discovery.

Langkawi has some of the best preserved eco-systems on the planet and its unique geological features have seen it awarded UNESCO Geopark status - the only UNESCO Geopark in South-East Asia.

During your Yoga and Nature Dicovery retreat you will have two excursions guided by Rimbawi GeoDiscovery.

Matchinchang Rainforest Trek

Langkawi's rainforests are among the most ancient rainforests on the planet. You will see trees hundreds of years old towering majestically above you as you follow the trail that winds along the banks of picturesque mountain streams.

Your experienced nature guide will point out many of the natural wonders of the rainforest that would otherwise go unnoticed to the untrained eye.

The biodiversity and unique ecosystems of Malaysia's Rainforests are world famous and the forests that drape the Mat Chinchang range are no exception.

Mangrove Geoforest Tour

Travel through the kilim river mangroves by boat and discover some of the unique natural and geological features of this part of the island, including the bat cave, a tidal lake and fossils, all guided by one of the guides from Rimbawi GeoDiscovery.

Kilim Geoforest Park is our tropical island Karst (Limestone) landscape that dates from the Ordivician and Late Devonian eras (350 - 490 million years ago).It was formed by erosion due to weathering and climatic change.

Exploring the northeast coastal ecosystem you will marvel at the stunningly beautiful formations and outcrops that rise out of the sea. These arcane coral formation were tectonically pushed out of the sea and form a substrate to a unique forest type called limestone forest.
